Local Delivery Driver jobs in Detroit, MI

MotorCity Supplies Inc. is looking for a local delivery driver. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position from 8am- 5pm or until route completed.

Job duties:

• Must be able to lift boxes/ other materials frequently throughout the day based on assigned deliveries.
• Deliver products to the customer; unload and place where the customer requested it
• Must maintain the truck they use and advise the Manager if repairs are required.
• Must complete the daily checklist for truck before leaving the company
• Unload the truck after finishing the delivery run and clean it out ( both cab and box)
• Comply with company and warehouse safety rules and practices
• Any other job as assigned

**Driver must have 3 years of delivery driver experience with a valid Chauffeur license**

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent professional experience
• Up to 2 years’ experience in transportation environment
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Organized and detail oriented.
