Localization Engineer, Sr develops and produces localized versions of the company's products and services. Supports the creation and maintenance of localization test specifications and scripts for automating localization testing. Being a Localization Engineer, Sr tests localized products according to test specifications. Identifies, prioritizes and fixes localization bugs according to established procedures. Additionally, Localization Engineer, Sr applies working knowledge of networks, operating systems, hardware, software, and testing/production environments in performing work assignments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Localization Engineer, Sr work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Day to Day:
Skiltrek is seeking a talented Sr Substation Engineer that provides project management, project estimating, design engineering, permitting, procurement management, and closeout for the District's substation projects. Performance is measured by safety, reliability, operability, and economy of assigned projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must Haves:
Bachelor degree in (Structural/ Civil / Electrical) Engineering degree (ABET-accredited degree)
Professional Engineer (PE) certificate, NERC, or other relevant industry-level education / certification or means for completion within six months.
5 years of equivalent engineering work experience. Master's degree may be considered for up to two years of experience
Experience with of all aspects of installations within discipline.
o Create design documents, technical specifications, and drawings for new substation projects (electrical plants, schematics, bills of materials, and equipment specifications)
Valid Driver's license
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Plusses:
Experience with Ventyx (Asset Suite), Cognos, AutoDesk (CAD, Inventor, Vault), Bentley MicroStation, PeopleSoft, SharePoint.
Master's degree in Engineering or Business.
Experience researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and presenting recommendations.
Electric utility substation design and construction experience
Understanding and application of NESC, OSHA, ASCE, etc. as it applies to Substation design and construction methods
Thorough knowledge of OPPD's T&D, Substation and Generation system.
