Operations Department Manager I, Vice President
Manages a medium sized department on site. Responsible for ensuring the delivery and deposits of Wholesale Lockbox operations services/products to internal and external customers. Participates in long term and strategic planning. Determines department structure and allocates resources. Develops, recommends, implements and ensures all staff is in compliance with all departmental policies, procedures and corporate policies. Wholesale Lockbox is a large payment channel with over 23 billion in annual deposits.

Position Responsibilities:
- Line level supervision of full-time and part-time employees.
- Ensure that work functions are performed and consistently meet established service level agreements and key performance measurements.
- Evaluate expenses to identify variances to Forecast and provide needed adjustments.
- Department lead on medium to larger projects.
- Identify risks associated with tasks/activities and take steps to mitigate or eliminate.
- Lead risk related exams/audits.
- Work with Audit and Assurance Services to supply supporting documentation or answer questions relating to procedures and controls.
- Perform monthly self-audits and random audits of work to ensure compliance.
- Obtain minimum rating of satisfactory for audit and compliance exams.
- Participate in Business Continuity Planning and obtain a minimum score of successfully on all department exams.
- Accountable for process improvement/change management across the unit.
- Ensure procedures and process flows are current and being executed appropriately.
- Leverage tools (Capacity Plans, Capability Matrix, etc.) to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained, including the use of overtime.
- Ensure ongoing staff cross-training activities.
- Ensure project estimates are accurate and committed dates are met.
- Participate in National Best Practice meetings as well as provide strategic input for the department.
