Duplicates keys, replaces and re-keys locks as necessary, and ensures that all security devices are in adequate working condition. Being a Locksmith may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Locksmith typically reports to a manager. The Locksmith gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
