Graf Brothers is seeking a full-time experienced Road Log Buyer for Central / Western, KY.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a member of the Graf Brothers Procurement Staff, you will assist in supplying logs to 4 sawmills. You will be responsible for purchasing logs from your designated area. Reporting directly to the Procurement Leader, you will:
- Purchase logs within Graf Brothers Procurement guidelines
- Coordinate all day-to-day activities with Administrative Office for your designated area
- Manage and promote positive supplier relationships
Requirements:- Computer skills
- Capable of working both in a team environment and alone with little supervision
- Common Sense
- Strong commitment to personal, team, and supplier/contractor safety
- Heavy equipment operating experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:- 1-3 years of practical and verifiable log procurement experience required
- Degree in Forestry related studies preferred but not required
Salary:- $COMPETITIVE
