Summary/Objective
Assist with the shipments of all finished goods via full truckloads and customer pickups. Quality and integrity will always be a priority in all shipments.
Essential Roles
- Perform all computer functions necessary to ship products via FTL
- Printing off all necessary paperwork for the outside loading team.
- Assist the Logistics Manager in arranging loads and booking loads with carriers
- Final inspection of goods and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the FTL Logistics Manager
- Complete the necessary customs documents needed to clear loads into Canada
- Make pickups and deliveries of supplies and goods as needed
- Work with internal customer service team to ensure order information is correct if there are questions
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Exposed to all weather conditions. Hot, cold, rain, and snow.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and hand eye coordination while loading trucks. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- At least 6 months in a shipping related job (Preferred) 6 months Forklift/Front end loader experience (Preferred)
