We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for managing the supply chain process with minimal supervision. The main tasks of the role will include reviewing current business processes and performance metrics for unit planning, as well as identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. To achieve this, the Logistics Analyst will gather and analyze data, create reports, establish management dashboards, and review documents. Facilitating communication between production, sales, and distribution stages will also be a key responsibility to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manages supply chain processes, such as costing and spending, for the business with minimum supervision, applying discretion and judgment.
- Compiles key metrics produces reports, analyzes data using IT systems, and reports gathering for demand and supply matching activities.
- Supports the analysis conducted for backlog management.
- Gathers demand data for demand planning.
- Review current business process for unit planning.
- Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Establishes and maintains management dashboards, reports, and executive review documents to drive business outcomes and operational excellence.
- Communicates requirements and guidelines to the management team for business unit planning.
Education & Experience
- Four-year Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
