Schedules shipments to ensure delivery deadlines
Receives orders and assigns shipments to carriers
Assists CS’s with order status inquires
Resolving delivery/shipping problems
Performs other related duties as assigned
Communicating with other departments to organize loads to be shipped
Assisting all managers with other tasks if time is approved by Supervisor
Additional Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extensive knowledge of export regulations and procedures
Strong time management skills and attention to details
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with computerized distribution systems
Language Skills: Ability to understand verbal instructions and written documents such as safety rules, labels, SDS, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to understand, read and write English in order to document results on forms and logs.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to five years of experience in a shipping warehouse required.
Physical Demands: prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to life up to 15 pounds at a time.
