Position Summary:
LS Tractor is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our logistics and supply chain management team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our logistics operations by accurately entering data into SAP. This position requires a high level of precision and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accurately input, update, and maintain logistics information in SAP ensuring data integrity and timely processing of logistics activities.
· Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for data entry and ensure that all logistics data is comprehensive and up-to-date.
· Monitor and track shipments, inventory levels, and production schedules to support effective supply chain management.
· Generate reports and provide data analysis to help identify logistics trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
· Assist in the coordination of logistics operations, including shipping and receiving, to ensure they align with LS Tractor’s operational policies and procedures.
· Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding logistics processes and status updates.
· Participate in logistics and inventory audits, providing accurate data to support audit processes.
· Collaborate with the logistics team to develop and implement improvements in logistics processes and systems usage.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
· Previous experience in logistics or data entry roles, particularly with SAP and/or specific assembly management systems.
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in SAP, data entry systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a high-volume environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with team members across various departments.
· Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support business decisions.
· Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management principles.
· Must be proactive, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs.
