Overview:
Darey Brands Logistics Coordinator is responsible for inventory management, shipment tracking, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

Arrange/Manage Freight/Track Shipments- 70%
· Create and process replenishment stock transfer orders for forward distribution warehouses.
· Route orders and coordinate truckload shipments to meet customer delivery date requests.
· Follow up on delayed loads and missed appointments, ensuring resolution with customers.
· Develop, maintain, and establish long-term relationships with both existing and new carriers.
· Negotiate long-term freight agreements.
· Provide support and subject matter expertise in the event of a recall.
· Assist in resolving customer complaints.
· Gather and collect freight claim information.
· Monitor and ensure compliance.
· Continuously analyze logistics operations and suggest improvements to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies.
Manage 3PL Inventory/Relationships- 15%
· Manage stock levels to prevent customer outages.
· Partner with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
· Confirm inbound receipts with warehouses.
· Coordinate transportation with 3PL providers.
· Work with sales, accounting, finance, and production teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve discrepancies or issues.
Import/Export Order- 5%
· Prepare pro forma invoice.
· Request required certificates and paperwork.
Cycle Counts- 5%
· Initiate weekly cycle counts.
· Work with Warehouse and Production team to resolve any discrepancies.
· Maintain proper documentation of resolutions.
Reporting- 5%
· Prepare reports for management on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery costs and OTIF.

Minimum Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of logistics experience, order processing methods and inventory control.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· Warehouse experience preferred.
· 3 years ERP experience or WMS preferred.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word/Excel.
· Knowledge of Share Documents.
· Strong Communication Skills.

Working Conditions:
The noise level in the office is moderate. The employee primarily works in a office environment. They are exposed to the production facility where the noise is moderate to loud and there is exposure to mechanical equipment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
