City Ambulance Service is seeking a Logistics Specialist responsible for supporting the Logistics department in providing support through professional, friendly, and accurate phone interactions and arranging of emergent and non-emergent ambulance transports for our Port Arthur and Beaumont, Texas Stations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make sure all ambulances are fully stocked and equipped
-Help in the daily logistics operations between stations
- Recognizes critical situations and alters supervisor on complicated and unusual situations
- Move equipment between stations
Other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
- Move supplies from and to multiple Houston Stations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to teamwork and assisting colleagues in achieving company goals - Ability to think independently, to find creative solutions
- Confident phone presence - Map reading skills, including online mapping programs - General geographic knowledge of Beaumont/Port Arthur and surrounding counties
