Logistics - Calibration Technician 1294650

A leading technology company is looking for a Logistics - Calibration Technician. The successful candidate will work full-time in our customer facility in Goleta, CA performing calibrations on Network Analyzers, Signal Analyzers and RF signal generators. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience or more in calibration or a recent graduate from a technical school. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Logistics - Calibration Technician Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $30-35/hr
• Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Santa Barbara, CA 93117 - Onsite)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• hours/week, Month Assignment

Logistics - Calibration Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform automated calibrations on select RF our test equipment using the company's calibration software procedures.
• Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided by our Technologies.
• Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required.
• Select the appropriate software to calibrate Electronic Test Equipment
• Follow the instructions to connect the Standards to the unit under test.
• Clean the unit and close the work orders.
• Use written instructions to perform manual calibrations.
• Follow the instructions and take the necessary training.
• Pick up and deliver test equipment, as necessary.
• Prepare shipping documents.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Logistics - Calibration Technician Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience or more in calibration or a recent graduate from a technical school preferred.
• Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience.
• Someone recently out of the military with test equipment experience would also work.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
• Familiar with the following measurement instruments:
  • Multimeters.
  • Oscilloscopes.
  • Spectrum Analyzer.
  • Power Meters.
  • Network Analyzer.
  • Signal Generators.
  • Power Supplies.
