We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys driving, has excellent customer service skills, and is committed to delivering our products in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate a NON-CDL delivery vehicle to transport products to customer locations within designated routes in Watsonville, CA and surrounding areas.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues to the appropriate department.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle and ensure their secure placement for transportation.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collect payments from customers as needed and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license without any serious traffic violations.
- Clean driving record and ability to maintain a good driving history.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Watsonville, CA and surrounding areas, including familiarity with local roads and routes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 150 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and navigate through traffic.
- Comfortable using GPS and navigation systems to plan and follow delivery routes.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and electronic documentation.
