Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the logistics operations, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and vendor management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods and materials through the supply chain. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce costs - Manage and coordinate all logistics activities, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution - Oversee the selection and management of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute supply chain initiatives - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to transportation, import/export, and hazardous materials handling - Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing - Lead the sourcing process for new vendors or suppliers as needed - Manage the dispatching of goods to customers or other locations - Oversee materials management activities, including inventory control, cycle counting, and stock replenishment - Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, including training and development opportunities Experience: - Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced environment - Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices - Proficiency in using SQL or other data analysis tools for reporting purposes - Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software applications - Familiarity with 3PL operations and vendor management - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams If you are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $65,291.00 - $71,767.00 per year
