Job Description: Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the MCHP Boulder Warehouse; train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage and distribution of supplies and maintenance of inventory. Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to material handlers. Receive, unpack, issue, store and deliver materials and complete packing slips for shipments to customers or vendors. Prepare and maintain records and backlogs and prepare reports as required. Learn the MCHP systems: BaaN, AX2009, AX2012, LN, SA tool, etc. Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain regular attendance. EXPIRENCE IN: Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures. Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials. Operation of a forklift Space utilization and inventory techniques. Proper methods of storing materials and supplies. Record-keeping techniques. Inventory methods and practices. Principles and practices of training and providing work direction. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. ABILITY TO: Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the Warehouse. Train, supervise and evaluate personnel. Utilize space efficiently and effectively. Maintain inventory. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Operate warehouse equipment. Receive, issue, store and return warehouse stock and supplies. Lift, move, sort and store objects. Plan and schedule work. Maintain accurate records of stock transactions. Operate a computer terminal and warehouse-related software. Work independently with little direction. Observe health and safety regulations. Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires bending, squatting, climbing, reaching. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and three years warehouse or related experience. We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature.
