Hybrid Role in office Mon, Tues, Thurs
Responsibilities:
Accomplish timely, accurate and professional support for all ocean going logistical needs to customers both internal and external
Assist in and originate the computation of various logistical studies, involving lay time calculations and general operational costs and benefits analysis
Maintain and create daily vessel report. Collect vessel ETA’s for the purposes of determining expectation of vessel placement, to meet product shipping requirements
Vessel Transportation Coordination and analysis: - Assist in coordination and approval process of ocean carriers - Assist in coordination of carrier onboarding - Assist in development of carrier key metrics and records
Process payments of freight and other related expenses
Coordinate investigation of vessel demurrage/dispatch as well as verify all settlements with internal and external partners in a timely manner
Provide various reporting to management as required
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects as needed
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
