Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with governmental accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of transactions
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Skills:
- Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Quicken or QuickBooks
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping

Pay: $45,186.82 - $54,418.53 per year
