Loss Prevention Supervisor jobs in South Dakota

The Fraud Program Supervisor leads cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Supervises fraud detection associates in their effort to identify and prevent future fraud. Being a Fraud Program Supervisor researches, documents, and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Regularly reviews the team's work product and makes recommendations as needed. In addition, Fraud Program Supervisor analyzes current processes and procedures and makes recommendations to promote more effective operations. Provides training and guidance to new employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fraud Program Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Working as a Fraud Program Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Description - The objective of the Security Officer is the access control, protection of people, property, and company assets through the due diligence of attention to detail, observing, reporting and deterrence.

     

    Security Officer Responsibilities – The responsibilities of a Security Officer may vary from day to day. The following list contains, but is not limited to, common responsibilities for a Security Officer:

     

    • Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
    • Escorting employees, guests, and contractors.
    • Monitoring a CCTV system.
    • Keeping an accurate and chronological account of your day (DAR).
    • Documenting incidents with an incident report.
    • Assisting ill or injured employees, contractors, and or guests.
    • Investigating strange noises or smells.
    • Responding to 911 misdials and actual emergencies.
    • Investigating fire alarms.
    • Dealing with power outages or power dips.
    • Crowd control and evacuation assistance during building emergencies.
