Responsibilities of the Print Press Feeder:

• Verify customer specifications for each product using the computer system.
• Follow and complete all work instructions for each job ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Continuously check product quality to meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Operate a walkie to transport products within and between departments.
• Safely and efficiently feed the press maintaining a steady workflow.
• Monitor and maintain ink levels dampening solution and all other necessary supplies.
• Assist the Pressman with make-readies, production and troubleshooting.
• Perform wash-ups on the presses to ensure cleanliness and prevent contamination.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on printing equipment as required.
• Follow equipment lockout procedures to ensure safety.
• Record production data accurately both on paperwork and the computer system.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other related duties as required to support the overall printing process.

Qualifications for the Print Press Feeder position:

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Machine Experience: Prior experience with printing machines is essential.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English for Safety, ISO and work-related tasks.
• Effective communication and presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Proficient in basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Accurate use and reading of a standard tape measure with 16th and 32nd measurements.
