Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our team. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Blanchard Grinder Responsibilities:

• Operate Blanchard grinders to produce precise surface finishes on a variety of materials
• Set up and adjust grinding equipment and tools according to specifications
• Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate production records and perform regular maintenance on equipment

Blanchard Grinder Requirements:

• Strong understanding of grinding techniques and surface finishes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail and strong quality control skills

Duties:

- Operate grinding machines to shape and smooth metal parts

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of dimensions

- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments

- Follow blueprints, work orders, and specifications to perform grinding tasks

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Previous experience operating grinders or similar machinery is preferred

- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus

- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
