WORK HOURS: 

Mon-Fri 6am - 4:30pm 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and machine components, mostly in steel, from drawings/blueprints
• Set-up and operate all machine tools in a tool room environment including but not limited to, conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and grinders.
• Safely perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of machine shop and tool room practices and techniques
• Use measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, gages, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts are within specifications
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and free from safety hazards and to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned

 Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Trade school experience is preferred (Machining, Fabrication, etc.)
• 2 years of Machining or Tool & Die experience in a metal manufacturing setting.
• 1 year of electrical experience
• Knowledge of cutting, milling, welding, assembly, tool composition and metal fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and models
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges and calipers
• Organized self-starter with proven ability to co-ordinate and effectively follow up on multiple projects and assignments and meet all deadlines
• Has working knowledge of advanced shop mathematics.
• Basic computer skills (preferably able to read and render Auto Cad)
• Ability to display good mechanical skills.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance

Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers. At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
