The Maid is responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties which may include: vacuuming, dusting, item washing, trash collecting and proper sorting. Works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Being a Maid typically reports to a supervisor. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Maid possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are accepting applications for a housekeeper who's responsibilities will include but not limited to: maintaining the cleanliness of our rental cabins and shower houses. Clean the cabins after the people that rent them check out which includes sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, changing bedding as well as laundering it. Each cabin has a kitchen and bathroom that will need to be cleaned. Do spot inspections for any missing items or any damage within the cabin. Will be responsible for cleaning the shower houses on the premises. Some heavy lifting may need to be done with moving furniture to clean under it, so being able to lift/push/pull is a physical requirement of the job. Being able to be on your feet for extended time. There is some flexibility with hours, but cabins will need to be cleaned and ready for the next check ins. Sometimes cabins have to be cleaned more than once a week depending on how they are rented. Our season is May through October.
