  • Mailing Services is looking for a Mailroom Clerk to print and insert outgoing mail, and maintain breakroom and office supplies. Performs assigned duties in accordance with the standards of the U.S. Postal Service Regulations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or employee to ensure timely distribution.
    • Sorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda.
    • Picks up departmental mail.
    • Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.
    • Processes and weighs outgoing mail.
    • Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
    • Replenishes postage on the postage meter as needed.
    • Stocks supplies needed for the mailroom.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
    • Able to traverse office facilities to pick up mail

    Job Type: Part-time

    Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am-3:00 pm

    Fridays: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

    Pay: $16 per hour

    • Monday to Friday
    • No weekends
