    Summary :
    Processes postal materials in accordance with established procedures and U.S. Postal specifications.

    Educational Requirements
    High school diploma/GED or may substitute with 1 year of like experience.

    Required Experience
    1 years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: sorting and distributing mail, metering envelopes, working knowledge of U.S. Postal regulations, shipping & receiving, and other clerical/administrative duties.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Moderate: ability to communicate basic procedural, educational information verbally and in written form that may include correspondence, reports, descriptions of programs/processes; ability to provide guidance and instruction required to coordinate tasks and/or projects; ability to interface with internal staff, mid-upper management professionals, and general public.

    Analytical
    Moderate: gathering, analyzing, interpreting data according to standard methods, guides, and procedures (basic accounting, data processing, marketing, technical knowledge required).

    Other Skills and Abilities
    1. Maintain current knowledge of U.S. Postal and private postal carrier requirements.
    2. Operate various postal machines and standard office machines.
    3. Organize and manage time to accurately complete tasks within designated time frames in fast-paced environment.
    4. Maintain current knowledge of and comply with regulatory and company policies & procedures.
    5. Maintain confidentiality of member health information and business information.
    6. Flexible: ability to adjust work hours to meet business demands.

    1. Sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
    2. Bend, stoop, and stretch.
    3. Lift up to 40 pounds.
    4. Excellent hand/eye coordination.
    5. Maneuver transportation cart.
