Mail Clerk, Sr. receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Collects and processes outgoing mail. Being a Mail Clerk, Sr. operates postage machine and other mailroom equipment as needed. May supervise and guide work of lower level mail clerks. Additionally, Mail Clerk, Sr. typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a Mailroom Supervisor. The Mail Clerk, Sr. gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Job Description:
Covid-19 vaccination required as per CDC recommendations.
Looking for someone with the following skills:
Mail sorting, claims soring, document processing.
Very repetitive job.
Ability to read quickly.
The candidate will be responsible for High volume mail and claims sorting.
Opening daily mail and sorting for digitalization.
High volume scanning.
Some warehouse and facilities management responsibilities, but focus is on mail/claims sorting.
There is a lot of sitting involved. Some lifting but nothing over 50lbs. Assistance is available.
Dress code is Business casual.
Free parking is available.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
