The mail clerk will be responsible for mail distribution, flow of correspondence, and requisition of mailroom supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

1. Pick up mail from the U.S. Postal Office.
2. Process and handle all incoming and outgoing mail, including overnight packages, ensuring proper routing and within established time limits. Must maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information.
3. Process incoming checks for Accounts Payable Department.
4. Sort out unsolicited mail and make appropriate contacts to discontinue mailings.
5. Maintain appearance of mailroom.
6. Deliver incoming mail to each department, person, or pre-established drop area.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Education: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
2. Licensure: N/A
3. Experience: Six months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
