Maintains and develops online and batch application programs. Being a Mainframe Programmer develops and implements a disaster recovery plan. Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts. Additionally, Mainframe Programmer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. As a Mainframe Programmer with a Public Trust, you will be part of the design team with responsibility for Requirements Analysis and Design Specifications for software requirement changes. You will support a payroll application.
Location: Project based out of Indianapolis, IN with remote possibility.
Experience Needed:
Strong experience with COBOL in a mainframe environment is required.
Experience with IDMS is required.
Exposure to AGILE methodology is a plus.
