Maintenance Planner, Sr. devises plans and programs for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at a plant or production facility. Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders. Being a Maintenance Planner, Sr. develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system. Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime. Additionally, Maintenance Planner, Sr. utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible. Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance. Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. May require a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Maintenance Planner, Sr. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Duties:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
- Remove snow and ice from surfaces using plows, shovels, and other hand tools
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to ensure safe and efficient snow removal
- Maintain and repair snow plow equipment as needed
- Assist with other groundskeeping duties such as lawn care, tree care, and hardscape maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in snow removal and groundskeeping
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred but not required
