Maintenance Planner, Sr. jobs in Jacksonville, NC

Handhelds, a division of J & J Snack Foods Sales Corp, (JJSF), a highly successful and leading American manufacturer of nutritional snack foods, has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in our Holly Ridge, NC facility.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Coordinates and assigns work orders using a computerized maintenance management system.

Create a work list for all shifts and coordinates all shift changeovers.

Devises plans for routine preventative maintenance and scheduled turnaround events at the production facility.

Accurately estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders.

Develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system.

Works closely with production and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities.

Utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible.

Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts.
