Maintenance Supervisor jobs in Doylestown, PA

The Service Director is the maintenance leader of the property. This person will work directly with the Community Director to oversee the property and maintenance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the leadership and direction of all site maintenance related employees through the guidance of the Community Director.

• Monitor and manage the performance of maintenance staff; set goals, monitor performance, motivate and adhere to policies while creating a sense of teamwork and community.

• Use of general maintenance equipment including but not limited to: hand tools, ladders, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment; all equipment must be used without jeopardizing the safety of yourself, fellow associates or residents.

• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to minimize liability concerns and ensure excellent curb appeal at all times.

• Communicates with residents and maintain a timely completion of work orders.

• Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly.

• Participate in company training classes and meetings; ensure all service staff receives appropriate training as required.

• Work with community manager to obtain competitive bids for maintenance-related expenses.

• Follow policies relating to but not limited to fair housing, OSHA, pool and safety standards set by Madison Apartment Group.

• Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• EPA Universal certification, HVAC Certified and CPO Certification

• Other licenses and certifications as required by Madison, state or federal law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to maintain a flexible, 7 day a week schedule
