Summary
Light of Hope, a Fort Lauderdale based community non-profit organization has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Outreach Coordinator to work in the Fort Lauderdale area. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the VP for Light of Hope and the COO for Infections Managed. This position will help develop and implementing public education and outreach programs that will have positive outcomes in our community. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in planning, preparing and implementing programs for wellness screening, Outreach education. In addition, this position may involve delivering screening questionnaires, counseling individuals regarding risk and recommended screenings, and provide guidance on HIV testing in community outreach and clinical settings, providing education and patient navigation including benefits navigation regarding services including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) as well as rapid entry into HIV care.
Bilingual candidate (English-Spanish) preferred. This job will require evening hours and job duties may take place at multiple community locations throughout the Fort Lauderdale area.
