Vineland Utility Engineering is seeking candidates with a Bachelor of Science in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and a demonstrated aptitude for project management. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. This candidate must be comfortable coordinating multiple priorities in a collaborative and fluid environment. VMEU’s involvement in the generation, transmission, and distribution markets allows our engineers to experience a wide range of technical challenges. Vineland Utility Engineering manages large and small-scale projects in support of the following core functions:
· Distribution and generation equipment installation, maintenance, and upgrades;
· Operation and control strategies for aero-derivative combustion turbines:
· Grid modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting;
· Coordination of power system outages;
· Environmental compliance;
· Renewable energy systems modeling and interconnection;
· Geographic Information System (GIS) maintenance;
· Development of work order packages to support our operations team;
· Service and procurement contracts management;
· Budget planning and inventory control;
