Our CPG client is seeking a highly skilled Product Design Manager to lead their design team in creating innovative and user-friendly products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the product design team to deliver high-quality designs on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.
- Develop and execute design strategies that align with business objectives and enhance user experience.
- Conduct market research and user testing to gather feedback and improve product designs.
- Oversee the design process for various products, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Mentor and develop junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to keep the design team informed and innovative.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Design Manager, Creative Services Manager, Industrial Design, Product Designer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful product designs and leadership in design projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Nice to have: Leadership experience and familiarity with CAD software.
