ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with GW Nolato business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advising on the best hiring strategy.
- Utilizes a variety of techniques to discover and attract the best passive talent, including social media sites.
- Conducts thorough interviews and phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills to be successful in the Nolato GW environment.
- Focuses on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity. Ensures timely responses and a speedy hiring process. Responsive to candidates and presses for quick speed within the internal recruitment process to ensure timely hiring process.
- Researches and keeps current on the industry and on building a pipeline of candidates in the plastics and medical device industry.
- Works directly with the site Human Resources Managers to remain updated on hiring needs.
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies to respond to long and short-term staffing needs. This hands-on position will actively coordinate all phases of the recruitment process.
- Responsible for building strong working relationships with hiring managers, maintaining proactive/ongoing communication regarding the status of open positions and candidate status and must be able to authentically share information about Nolato GW.
- Will consistently demonstrate a high level of integrity and will quickly establish credibility in the organization and develop strong trust relationships with staff and leaders.
- Will effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive recruitment issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be diligently organized, able to leverage technology efficiently to coordinate multiple searches simultaneously and effectively work as part of a fast-paced human resources team.
- Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing technical talent.
- Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment.
- A genuine interest in technology as shown by continuous learning throughout your career.
- Skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends.
- The ability to drive projects to successful conclusion – balancing efficiency with quality.
- Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple competing priorities at once as required, as are strong organizational and time management skills.
- Track and report community outreach and recruitment activities.
- Maintain and record keep applications.
- Must be self directed and motivated to accomplish recruitment goals.
- Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal).
- Must have good computer skills in spreadsheet, word processing and database.
- Knowledge and experience navigating a shared services model that will be applied between two VT manufacturing plants.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
One to three years’ of experience in a Human Resources professional/recruiter role.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Friday 8am- 5pm, office based in Bethel VT.
- This position has Hybrid Remote possibility, if desired. Must be able to work on-site 3 days a week.
- Must be able to travel to attend and support associated recruitment activities.
