Genus Plc has an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a strategic Global Talent Acquisition Manager tooversee the talent acquisition function. The role is responsible for leading and developing a team of TA/recruitingprofessionals and supporting Genus’s business units. The successful candidate takes ownership, is customerfocused, results-driven, radiates expertise, collaborates broadly, and is innovative. You are a clear andinfluential communicator who builds effective relationships and partnerships with internal and externalstakeholders.This position is onsite 3 days per week, relocation is not provided. You will:• Report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and sit within the Center of Excellence (COE) onsite in ourDeForest, WI US headquarters.• Develop and lead a high-performing team of talent acquisition specialists (TAS) responsible for deliveringhigh-quality services. Work with the team to set team and personal goals, provide training, manageperformance, and conduct reviews.• Support the company’s people strategy by identifying areas for continuous improvement to attract,source, screen, interview, hire, and onboard top talent. Ensure DEI initiatives are properly supported,and diverse candidate pipelines are presented to hiring leaders.• Lead the building and implementation of competency-based hiring and support the building ofcompetency and skill in managers and employees representing our brand and helping to assess andhire candidates.• Act as the ATS subject matter expert and system administrator, identify areas for improvement andcollaborate with our HRIS team and vendor to implement system changes.• Establish and maintain all TA reporting, metrics, KPIs for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annualreporting and utilize Power BI and iCIMs reporting to monitor and evaluate vacancies and recruiter / TASrequisition load.• Collaborate with the L&D COE to co-lead the creation and implementation of competency-basedinterview training and conduct or support hiring manager and interview team training.• Attend business unit leaders’ meetings and serve as a Talent Acquisition champion / change agent,informing managers of the TA services, capabilities and process.• Respond to shifting priorities to meet business needs, advise on best practices related to optimizing TAfunctionality and effectiveness, and identify win/win solutions.• Continuously evaluates the most scalable model for service delivery, which may include resourcesoutside of the U.S. and/or vendors.• Develop, foster, and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and employees.• Oversee relationships, sourcing and hiring with military and educational institutions.• Ensure that world-class environmental health and safety work processes and results are in place andconsistently utilized.• Uphold the Genus core values, mission, and vision.• Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours. Performs other projects andresponsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: (required)• Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of human resources experience; additional years of related experiencemay offset education.• 5 plus years of Talent Acquisition Manager experience to include:o Proven leadership in managing and developing a TA team.o Demonstrated track record of delivering results with matrixed global organization.o Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.o Experience hiring both exempt and non-exempt talent.o Functional experience as a full life-cycle recruiter / talent acquisition specialist.o Previous experience implementing an applicant tracking system, iCIMS preferred not required.• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:• Global recruiting experience to include one or more regions - EMEA, LATAM and ASIAPAC• Experience experience developing and nurturing an “Employment Brand”.• Vendor management experience preferred.• Experience in agriculture, biotechnology, or life sciences preferred
