    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Manager of Talent Acquisition will execute the recruitment strategy for Fontainebleau Las Vegas by building robust talent pipelines, partnering with internal and external entities to sustain a consistent intake of talent, partnering with the business to conduct needs analysis, leading a dynamic team focused on bringing high caliber talent, and measuring recruitment effectiveness.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

    • Provide the highest level of full life cycle recruiting to candidates; conduct full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers and candidates
    • Assist People Leadership with managing the Fontainebleau Las Vegas’s Employment Center, the programs, people, and onboarding process
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and inspire teams to achieve the mission and vision of the Company
    • Prepare short- and long-term recruitment plans to meet workforce skill and competency needs
    • Partner with Marketing to design talent acquisition campaigns related to particular jobs with a focus on candidate segmentation, market research, tactical activity design and execution, optimization of social channels, talent pipeline programs, and employer brand
    • Create talent forecasts and organize recruiting efforts around talent deficits
    • Develop and implement best practices for proactive sourcing, assessment, selection, and retention of candidates aligned with business needs and our commitment to diversity and inclusion
    • Lead streamlined pre-employment processes that energize candidates, comply with laws and regulations, and capitalize on automation
    • Formulate strategies to attract and retain top talent from outside community partners and organizations, including intern programs, associate programs, and executive recruiting
    • Responsible for monitoring the application website and managing enhancements
    • Manage all contracts for staffing agencies
    • Consistently remain aware of industry trends and benchmarks of other organizations and best practices to ensure optimal tools and resources are being utilized
    • Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks
    • Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible behavior
    • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Five (5) years of leadership experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources for a large-scale luxury resort/casino
    • Preferred to have proven experience with mass hiring for a new resort or casino
    • Proven knowledge of federal and state employment laws
    • Experienced building recruitment capabilities for effective implementation, follow-up, sustainability, and measurement for large hospitality businesses
    • Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to team member and guest problems, in a timely manner
    • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects
    • Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
    • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job supervises all positions within the Talent Acquisition Department.

    Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

    The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
