    Position Overview:

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on handling cases in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about these practice areas and is eager to grow both personally and professionally in a supportive environment. Attorney should anticipate 3-4 days a week of courtroom experience and multiple client meetings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a caseload consisting of Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense matters.
    • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
    • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, trials, and negotiations.
    • Collaborate with partner on case strategy and client matters.
    • Provide excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the South Dakota State Bar and in good standing.
    • 1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Family Law, Civil Litigation, or Criminal Defense.
    • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client advocacy.
