Here’s what you need to know!
Title: Cost Accountant
Role type: Direct Hire / Full Time
Location: Cahaba Heights, AL / On-site
Compensation: $65-70,000 (DOE)
What you'll be doing:- Reviewing and publishing batches of accounts payables and receivables.
- Balancing bank statements and reconciling financial information.
- Handling monthly journal entries.
- Generating monthly reports tailored to each client.
- Supporting owner or lender funding requests.
- Collaborating closely with Project Managers on inquiries related to development.
- Aiding management with ad hoc projects as required.
Education and Credentials:- College degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in Job Cost Accounting preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and Sage Intacct (highly preferred).
- Stable job history with a demonstrated track record of professionalism.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly professional demeanor.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing work environment.
- Previous experience in Job Cost Accounting.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct.
