As our Manufacturing Production Manager, you will be responsible for meeting production rate targets within the constraints of our current facility. You must have a can-do attitude and be the type of leader who finds a way to win. You are an effective communicator up and down the chain of command. You identify problems and implement solutions with minimal guidance. You will manage production schedules, monitor quality control, and motivate and train team members to achieve operational goals. Additionally, you will work closely with the leadership team on strategic initiatives and process improvements to drive organizational growth.
**Technical Expertise and Operational Knowledge:**
- Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes, including a comprehensive understanding of control systems and software pertinent to CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD/CAM files to manufacture precise components accurately.
- Knowledge of selecting appropriate tooling, designing fixtures, and developing machining strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with routine machine maintenance and adeptness at troubleshooting to minimize operational downtime and maintain productivity.
**Management and Organizational Skills:**
- Experience managing a shop floor, encompassing work scheduling, overseeing machine operators, and ensuring projects are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Competency in maintaining inventory for tools, materials, and supplies, ensuring resources are readily available as needed.
- Implementation and enforcement of quality control standards and procedures to meet client specifications and adhere to industry benchmarks.

- A strong commitment to workplace safety, including knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and the ability to conduct safety training and drills.
