Manufacturing Director jobs in North Carolina

Manufacturing Director directs and oversees an organization's manufacturing processes. Oversees equipment purchase, maintenance and layout. Being a Manufacturing Director monitors and evaluates workflow and assembly methods and makes recommendations for process improvements. Oversees staffing, scheduling and training for production. Additionally, Manufacturing Director ensures manufacturing performance and quality goals are met. Prepares production, staff, and financial reports. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Manufacturing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Manufacturing Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
