Collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop long-term solutions. Additionally, Manufacturing Director implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes that support business goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Responsibilities: As the Director of Operations, you will be at the helm of our daily business activities. Your responsibilities include:

    • Customer Relations: Manage and maintain quality customer service when required, oversee and manage customer orders and purchases, troubleshoot common issues with a product or service/operations, and cooperating and communicating with multiple departments to ensure effective and efficient operations regarding customer orders and products.
    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational plans, analyze trends, and assess functional responsibilities to enhance business capabilities.
    • Process Optimization: Drive growth through operational processes, employee capabilities, and financial performance. Refine and implement strategies, plans, and procedures for maximum efficiency.
    • Financial Oversight: Co-direct budgeting, accounting, and reporting functions. Provide financial counseling to the leadership team and identify profit opportunities through thorough analysis of revenue, profit, and cash flow.
    • Team Management: Build and maintain a responsive departmental structure, fostering a culture of accountability. Lead, motivate, and hold staff rigorously accountable for achieving objectives.
    • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate organizational performance through data and metrics analysis. Anticipate implications and consequences of situations, taking appropriate action to ensure continued success.
    • Leadership Development: Conduct meetings, supervisions, and training sessions to motivate and develop staff, promoting team building and establishing effective working relationships.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field; Master's degree/MBA preferred.
    • 5 years of proven experience as Director of Operations or in a relevant role.
    • Strategic planning expertise with a track record of driving revenue.
    • Experience overseeing daily operations in a high-growth environment.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.
    • Experience in team building, hiring, and dismissal.
    • Passion for joining a startup culture and shaping the future of the cannabis industry.
    • Experience in the cannabis industry or trade associations strongly preferred.
    • Full-time position
    • Onsite: 100% (no remote work)
    • Availability to work long hours, including weekends

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
