JOB DESCRIPTION:

Director of Manufacturing

Job Purpose:

The Director of Operations will direct staff and activities of the production and test processes in the manufacturing plant. The Director will partner with upper management to align objectives, meet company standards, and training and development of staff.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Direct Manufacturing, process and test Operations including a team of Test Operators, Test Techs, Debug Technical Resources and Test Engineers to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction
• Strong interaction with Customer Engineering teams to develop Root Cause Failure analysis and support hardware/software design change to improve overall product yield rates
• Participates in customer meetings when appropriate
• Provides guidance and leadership among staff
• Analyze and solve technical problems of the products in area of responsibility
• Reveal root cause, implement and report necessary actions
• Correlate failure activity and drive root cause corrective action with production, quality and engineering teams
• Pursue continuous grow of efficiency
• Provide effective training for manufacturing staff at all levels
• Take part in introduction of customer changes (ECO) together with the Product Engineer
• Participate in the interview process as appropriate for hiring
• Drive discipline and accountability into the culture
• Observe ESD regulations and safety instructions
• Drive Manufacturing, process and test efficiency and coverage to maintain quality product output and achieve targeted ship plans
• Observe and support of company policies and trends

Education and Experience:

• Engineering degree in electronics
• Excellent communication skills
• Management and Supervision experience required
• 10 years Management and Supervision experience required
• 10 years experience in electronic manufacturing preferably in PCB manufacturing
• Computer knowledge/Skills
• Manufacturing process and test developing experience is an advantage

Salary range: $136,771 - $160,000
