DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing first piece approval inspections, and final inspections of rubber products. May include the inspection of purchased parts, manufactured parts/areas, finished goods, and completing required process audits. The inspection criteria will be based upon blueprint specifications, quality check sheets, special notes, and departmental procedures to assure product quality. All non-conformances will be communicated to responsible workstations and Team Leader when necessary. The Quality Technician may support the completion of customer required certificates of conformance, labeling, and initialing final product, verifying quantity of customer orders, and working as a team toward immediate and long-term solutions.
