Manufacturing Engineer jobs in Arvada, CO

Wavelynx Technologies is a leading company in the access control industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control.  We seek a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will oversee the design of production machinery and identify and recommend solutions to production problems related to materials, processes, and toolings.

This is a Monday through Friday role, 100% onsite at our facilities in Broomfield, CO.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical direction for manufacturing processes in a manufacturing area as well as direction of cross-functional manufacturing issues.

• Participate as needed in cross-functional product design teams, providing product and process design expertise necessary to ensure manufacturability.

• Work with Tool Designers and Designers/Drafters to define tooling and fixturing requirements and initiate tooling improvement projects.

• Assist with the maintenance / calibration / and repairs of all manufacturing fixtures and machines.

• Initiate and implement system improvements for all stages of the manufacturing process.

• Managing Compliance with the QMS Document Specifications.

• Maintain and Expand Quality Control Systems.

• Maintains ISO 9001 compliance.

• Provide support to manufacturing with front-end software. 

Skills and Qualifications

• B.S. preferred in Engineering 

• Background in manufacturing processes

• Proven track record of design and process improvements

• Familiarity with PPAP

• Familiarity in implementing 5S

• Familiarity with Linux OS

• Familiarity with basic circuits

• Hands-on approach to problem-solving

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and kneeling. 

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.

• Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.

• This position's salary range is  $60-70k per year, depending on experience.
