Manufacturing Engineer assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes for a production facility. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Being a Manufacturing Engineer determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Manufacturing Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial production processes while coordinating quality, inventory, logistics, materials, costs and production.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
(i) Maintaining equipment;
(ii) Training on specialized procedures.
(iii) Troubleshooting defects and downtime; (iv) providing on-call support;
(iv) (ix) Designing, quoting and purchasing small to medium scope project tooling using direction from Lead Manufacturing Engineer.
Must possess a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering plus three (3) years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering position.
