Manufacturing Engineer assists in planning and designing manufacturing processes for a production facility. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Being a Manufacturing Engineer determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Manufacturing Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Manufacturing Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Integrates or improves manufacturing systems or related processes relative to Injection Mold processing/production/ validation. Provides project status feedback to management team. Emphasizes continuous improvement driving positive change throughout the manufacturing processes.

Performs Manufacturing Engineering projects as assigned.
Executes Lean/6-Sigma disciplines focusing on continuous improvement.
Implements creative ideas in the process of manufacturing and understands the technicalities related to the products.
Uses hands-on approach to improve the manufacturing process by implementing engineering concepts and optimizing production of products.
Supports Validation Team in transitioning new programs to production including manufacturing line, secondary operations and production planning.
Configures products and provides manufacturing specifications to the teams involved in documentation to help prepare guides and instructions.
Reviews cost of products by analyzing cost of raw material and overall production cost.
Works with manufacturing department and helps them understand technical concepts that should be looked after during manufacturing process of products.
Works closely with quality assurance team to make sure that product is meeting quality constraints as well.
Identifies and/or leads Continuous Improvement/Lean Projects either individually or with team.
