Hydraulic Press Brake Operators produce parts from metal using a hydraulic press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends into material.

Hydraulic Press Brake Operator Job Duties:

• 
  Read Blueprints or plans for the finished product.
• Adjust the Machine to Produce Formed Parts that Match the Blueprints.
• Verify the machine is set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
• Make sure the machine is working at full capacity, stocked with needed materials, well maintained, and perform periodic checks on output and quality.
• Inpect finished product to ensure it is defect free and ready for the next step in production.
• Operate various power tools and production equipment.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Required Skills: Excellent Math and Decimal Reading, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail & Quality, Mechanical and Technical Skills who understand CAD/CAM Software, Computer Literate, Blueprint reading, Strong Communication Skills, Tape Measure Reading, Time Management, Organizational Skills, Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead; Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours per day; Heavy Lifting.

Education: Preferred 12 months previous experience.
