Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Being a Manufacturing Manager monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials. Additionally, Manufacturing Manager collaborates with leaders to manage and resolve workforce or labor issues and develop solutions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. CME is looking for an Mechanical Engineering Interns (2-3) who under direct supervision designing and working hands on assisting with building products on the manufacturing floor as well as 3D printing. Your responsibilities may includes: design work, product packaging, creation & updating of BoMs, creation of work instructions, timed studies of assembly of product, use Dokuzi, etc.. We are looking smart, problem resolving, and highly detailed individuals who can consistently produce timely high-quality results that are accurate! Strong problem resolving and analytical skills which will allow them to produce imaginative and innovative solutions are musts for our interns.
