- Kurt Manufacturing is looking for a Program Manager to oversee and execute programs for contract accounts within our Machining Division. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in a manufacturing environment, and skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders and the drive to ensure projects are delivered on time and with exceptional quality. Effectively assist customers’ operational strategies to achieve timely and cost effective solutions. Maximize communications, job planning and service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction goals. Essential Functions Manages program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing program, directs and coordinates program activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases or program. Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from customers. Drives outstanding customer value and loyalty. Seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Reviews reports and records activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Prepares program reports for superiors. Controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations. Effectively communicates goals to the team and communicates with the wider organization when required. Required High School Diploma or equivalent GED 5 years of contract manufacturing experience Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field 10 years of related experience Physical Demand Factors The following physical demand factors should be used as a general guideline for employees listed under this job title. Specific requirements will vary based on the employee’s individual work responsibilities. Strength Level Rating: Sedentary work. Work involves exerting 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. A worker in this job will frequently (from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time): Reach by extending hands and arms Handle objects by seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands Talk by expressing or exchanging communication by means of the spoken work to impart oral information Hear by perceiving the nature of sounds by ear The worker will occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time): Pick, pinch, or otherwise work primarily with fingers Have near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less
