Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hardworking Entry Level Manufacturing Technician for a company in the Montgomery, Alabama area. This is a great Temp-to-Hire opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company! The company manufactures saw blades and other metal components for use in the cotton ginning industry. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with mechanical ability and production experience to join our manufacturing operations.
Pay Rate
$12.00 per hour.
Schedule and Hours
1st Shift: 7:00a – 3:30pm
Monday – Friday
Manufacturing Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks including machine set up.
- Machine operation
- Filling, packaging, labeling, boxing, palletizing, inspection of final products
- Area cleanup and other duties as assigned.
- Able to follow company safety rules, policies, and regulations.
- Reliable Transportation
- Basic Mathematical skills/Knowledge
- Able to work alongside other team members.
- Ability to Stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to lift 75lb throughout shift. (Lifting assessment given in the office)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proper unexpired documents required to complete the Federal I-9 process.
- Background and Drug Testing is required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
